The Asian Vegetarian Union and the undersigned being the President of Asian Vegetarian Union welcome you to the Third Asian Vegetarian Congress to be held at Kaohsiung City, Taiwan between 3rd November, 2007 and 7th November, 2007.

This is not a routine congress or a seminar, but a special one and I welcome you from my heart and with affection.

Are you not surprised that such a Congress is being held in Taiwan? a country full of vegetarians, but we still want to advance the vegetarianism to the people of eastern part of the world along with spiritualism. There are many vegtarians in Taiwan, but we want to increase the number of the vegetarians.

Vegetarianism is traveling at a fast pace from West to East and now more people are becoming vegetarians on the western world than the eastern world. We want to show it that western world there are many vegetarians and supporters of vegertarians. In the eastern world, the Congress is to create awareness of vegetarianism and get the support from the local people.

I welcome one and all to Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, the venue of the Congress.
