2008 International Vegetarian Culinary Competition

In order to promote vegetarianism, animal-caring, energy-saving & environment-protection, the two biggest religious groups – I-Kuan Tao and Buddhism - hold jointly the event on Oct. 26~27 in Kaohsiung County, Taiwan.

Activity contents :
1. Contest Grouping: Professional, Amateur & Student.
2. Contest Items: Chinese cuisines, western cuisines, Chinese pastry & desserts, western pastry & desserts, vegetable & fruit carving, ice carving.
3. Champion Dishes: dishes prepared by champion chefs of Singapore Gourmet Team Challenge 2008. (Exclusively for 50 persons only.)
4. Charity Bazaar: vegetarian food products demonstration and charity bazaar by sponsors.
5. Vegetarian Carnival Booths: providing visitors hundreds of vegetarian dishes & snacks with fair prices.
6. Chinese & Western Cuisine Teaching Classes.
7. Mt.Tian Tai & Mt.Fo Guang Tour Services.
8. Various Performances & Shows.
