The Meanings of CHVU’s Logo
Why did Mr. Lin, Chai-Ching (President of CHVU) require the designer to draw one golden horse, one elephant standing on a white plate: and revealing one fresh and green cabbage's leaf with a drop of dew under the plate as CHVU's logo? We are very glad to explain the meanings of CHVU’s logo for you as following:

1. Golden Horse: “Golden Horse” in Chinese means to be ridden by an emperor, it should be strong; a pure horse bred that can sustain long-distance rides; is able to gallop far without being fatigued. Therefore, “Vegetarianism” should diligently spread their idea to whole world like a hardworking horse running that quickly though it is vegetarian.
2. Elephant: One should discharge one’s duties conscientiously in spite of slanders like the spirit of elephant; and it is also vegetarian.
3. White Plate: Vegetarians eat vegetarian meals, not only care for physically and mentally health, upgrade their spirituality, but also disseminate “Great Love, Mercy, and Stop killing animals” to purify the whole world. So “White” means humans’ conscience should be free, bright and clear in love with light of eternity; furthermore one should match his/her deeds with words like a spotless jade.
4. Fresh Green Cabbage's Leaf With a Drop of Dew: Foods that Vegetarian and Vegetarianism have are all fresh, natural, and green (green means longevity; vitality).
Besides, CHVU’s logo has been registered.
